Dear Mr. Blais,

My colleagues at the Canadian Historical Association and I have received your message sent June 23, 2014 informing us of the decision of the Canadian Museum of History to reduce the extent of expert consultations on Canada Hall.

At this stage in our relationship, I would like to thank you and your colleagues at the Museum for the openness and respect with which you have conducted the consultations to date.

We will continue to follow the proceedings through those of our members who will remain and be substantially involved as you suggest, and wait for you to send us periodic updates that you announce.

We hope that your team can benefit from our advice during the last stages of the planning of the Hall.
