Careers and Opportunities

The CHA created a special emergency fund for graduate students - to a maximum of $500 per applicant, who are CHA members in good standing to conduct primary archival research in the amount of $10,000.00.

Half of the funding was allocated in January. The other half will be distributed in June 2021 (up to a maximum of $5,000 based on the number of qualified applications received).

Please note that those who received funds in January are NOT eligible to receive funds in June.

The fund is open to all graduate students who are members in good standing of the CHA, although preference will be given to PhD students who have finished their exams and are working on their thesis.

The application* deadline is 25 June 2021. The CHA Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the distribution of the funds. Decisions will be communicated at the end of June.

* You must first log in the member's portal to access the form.
