Il a appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 le travail que les archivistes font pr\u00e9server et faciliter l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux documents d\u2019archive dans chacun de ses cours d\u2019histoire de premier cycle. Cette observation l\u2019a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 mieux comprendre notre discipline. Elle l\u2019a \u00e9galement inspir\u00e9 \u00e0 utiliser les comp\u00e9tences acquises durant son dipl\u00f4me en histoire pour se trouver un travail dans un domaine qu\u2019il appr\u00e9cie grandement et qui ne cesse de l\u2019int\u00e9resser. Aux archives de la ville d\u2019Edmonton, Dylan aide les archivistes \u00e0 conserver et \u00e0 enrichir les collections. De pouvoir travailler avec les documents durant tout le processus d\u2019archivage est ce qui plait le plus \u00e0 Dylan dans son travail. \u00c0 l\u2019automne 2017, Dylan ajoutera \u00e0 ses connaissances acquises durant ses \u00e9tudes en histoire (BA 2015) et son emploi \u00e0 titre de technicien en archivistique en poursuivant des \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures en biblioth\u00e9conomie. En jumelant son travail actuel \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il a appris \u00e0 MacEwan, Dylan estime qu\u2019il est en mesure d\u2019imbriquer les pi\u00e8ces n\u00e9cessaires pour former une image et d\u00e9terminer la meilleure fa\u00e7on de maintenir l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 des fonds.
