Les peuples autochtones et leurs histoires en \u00e9taient compl\u00e8tement absents, marginalis\u00e9s, ou exprim\u00e9s selon une perspective coloniale. Dans un Canada contemporain caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par la diversit\u00e9 ethnoculturelle et par les efforts mis de l\u2019avant pour s\u2019engager dans une \u00e8re de r\u00e9conciliation avec les peuples autochtones, l\u2019objectif de construire une nation \u00e0 travers l\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire ne tient plus la route. La complexit\u00e9 du contexte politique, social et culturel \u00e0 laquelle nous faisons face requiert une relecture critique du pass\u00e9 et rend l\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire d\u2019autant plus indispensable. Une pens\u00e9e historique sophistiqu\u00e9e n\u00e9cessite d\u2019avoir d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une facilit\u00e9 de compr\u00e9hension des concepts et des processus historiques, et d\u2019avoir des \u00e9tudiants capables de construire et de comprendre le pass\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on active plut\u00f4t que d\u2019en recevoir passivement des versions pr\u00e9\u00e9tablies. Bien que les programmes d\u2019histoire et de sciences humaines et sociales au Canada aient \u00e9t\u00e9 influenc\u00e9s par les d\u00e9veloppements des recherches en pens\u00e9e historique, nous ne savons pas de quelle mani\u00e8re ces recherches ont influenc\u00e9 la p\u00e9dagogie, l\u2019apprentissage par les \u00e9tudiants, l\u2019\u00e9valuation et les ressources. Si le Canada entend prot\u00e9ger, maintenir et bonifier son image de saine d\u00e9mocratie, il aura besoin de citoyens instruits et engag\u00e9s, capables d\u2019une \u00e9tude critique du pass\u00e9. La capacit\u00e9 de \u00ab\u00a0penser historiquement\u00a0\u00bb, qui implique \u00e0 la fois de conna\u00eetre et de faire l\u2019histoire, aide les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 \u00e9tablir des liens entre le pass\u00e9 et le pr\u00e9sent et consiste \u00e0 un transfert des savoirs qui s\u2019av\u00e8re crucial en cette \u00e8re de \u00ab\u00a0fausses nouvelles\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buts et objectifs g\u00e9n\u00e9raux du partenariat<br \/>\n<\/strong>Les buts et objectifs g\u00e9n\u00e9raux du partenariat propos\u00e9 sont d\u2019alimenter une communaut\u00e9 interdisciplinaire et intersectorielle de chercheurs constitu\u00e9e de professeurs d\u2019histoire et de chercheurs issus des facult\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9ducation, de chercheurs autochtones, d\u2019\u00e9tudiants dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s, d\u2019\u00e9ducateurs dans des mus\u00e9es, des archives, ou des sites historiques, ainsi que de professeurs en poste,\u00a0afin de\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>(1)\u00a0dresser un \u00e9tat de la situation de l\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire au primaire et au secondaire;<\/p>\n<p>(2)\u00a0\u00e9tablir dans quelle mesure l\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire et des sciences humaines et sociales aide les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 s\u2019attaquer aux probl\u00e9matiques cl\u00e9s ou aux probl\u00e8mes auxquels la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne est confront\u00e9e de nos jours;<\/p>\n<p>(3)\u00a0identifier et d\u00e9velopper des pratiques bas\u00e9es sur des preuves, dans l\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire, les apprentissages, l\u2019\u00e9valuation et le d\u00e9veloppement des ressources, et \u00e9valuer leur efficacit\u00e9 en cr\u00e9ant des exp\u00e9riences d\u2019apprentissage puissantes et engageantes pour les \u00e9tudiants, en particulier en termes de construction d\u2019une compr\u00e9hension transsyst\u00e9mique entre les diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes de connaissances;<\/p>\n<p>(4)\u00a0cultiver et \u00e9valuer l\u2019impact des communaut\u00e9s de pratique bas\u00e9es sur des recherches th\u00e9oriques et empiriques en didactique de l\u2019histoire afin de promouvoir une pens\u00e9e historique engag\u00e9e et critique; et<\/p>\n<p>(5)\u00a0\u00e0 l\u2019aide des r\u00e9sultats \u00e9mergeant de la recherche, faire des recommandations pour des politiques bas\u00e9es sur des preuves en termes de programmes d\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire, de p\u00e9dagogie et d\u2019\u00e9valuation, par l\u2019\u00e9tablissement proactif de liens avec les minist\u00e8res de l\u2019\u00e9ducation, les facult\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9ducation, les \u00e9ducateurs de mus\u00e9es, les organisations et parties prenantes autochtones, les \u00e9diteurs, les autres concepteurs de programmes et les enseignants en poste.<\/p>\n<p>Le partenariat regroupe plusieurs parties prenantes concern\u00e9es par l\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire dont des chercheurs en histoire, des chercheurs en enseignement de l\u2019histoire issus des facult\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9ducation, des chercheurs autochtones, des \u00e9tudiants dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s et autres chercheurs, des \u00e9ducateurs dans des mus\u00e9es, des enseignants, des minist\u00e8res de l\u2019\u00e9ducation, des strat\u00e8ges, ainsi que des organisations historiques et patrimoniales locales, provinciales et nationales.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>D\u00e9fis | Probl\u00e9matiques Au moment de l\u2019\u00e9laboration des premiers programmes d\u2019enseignement de l\u2019histoire au Canada, \u00e0 la fin du XIX\u00e8me\u00a0si\u00e8cle, ceux-ci participaient \u00e0 la construction d\u2019une nation marqu\u00e9e par les int\u00e9r\u00eats divergents entre le Canada anglophone et le Qu\u00e9bec francophone.
