CHA Student-Member Research Support Fund During COVID

Published on 9 Dec 2020

The CHA created a special emergency fund for graduate students (to a maximum of $500 per applicant) who are CHA members in good standing to conduct primary archival research in the amount of $10,000.00. The fund will be distributed in January 2021 (up to a maximum of $5,000 based on the number of qualified applications received) and June 2021 (up to a maximum of $5,000 based on the number of qualified applications received).

The fund is open to all graduate students who are members in good standing of the CHA, although preference will be given to PhD students who have finished their exams and are working on their thesis.

The application deadlines are 22 January and 25 June 2021. The CHA Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the distribution of the funds. Decisions will be communicated at the end of January and again at the end of June.
