The winner of our inaugural prize exemplifies the spirit of community engagement and respectful collaboration.  The project is one with a timely and relevant topic whose results are disseminated in an accessible, media-rich website.  The prize committee thought that the project was the most representative of best practice, innovation, and ethical research.
