Ronald Rudin, Kouchibouguac: Removal, Resistance, and Remembrance at a Canadian National Park.
The COHA Prize Committee is pleased to recommend Kouchibouguac: Removal, Resistance and Remembrance at a Canadian National Park (Ronald Rudin) and the accompanying website, Returning the Voices to Kouchibouguac Park (www.returningthevoices.ca) for the 2017 COHA Prize. This project demonstrated exemplary work in the field of oral history and represents a significant contribution to the dissemination of oral history through the published word and the Internet. This project deserves to be recognized for its use of oral history in a way that brings to light an under-represented story in Canada’s history.
