What do we do with undergraduate students who are more concerned with what’s on their phones than what we teach during class time? Dr Honor Sachs recently re-posted a guest article that she wrote on The Junto: A Group Blog on Early American History a couple of years ago.

The post, titled “Dr. Strangehonor, Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Snapchat,” has Sachs talking honestly about digital pedagogy, social media use, and student engagement. The insight she gained into how students approached and shared their work was a direct result of her openness in using such applications.
