Shauna Vert holds a Bachelor degree in History and Communications from the University of Ottawa. After working in Marketing and Heritage for several years, Shauna began a freelance consultancy called Content Counts. Through her business, Shauna helps organizations understand and communicate the past in marketable ways. She works with clients in a variety of sectors including technology, tourism, legal services, First Nations education and non-profits.
As an entrepreneurial History graduate, Shauna works to bridge the gap between humanities and business. She is an advocate for interdisciplinary studies and has written extensively on the topic of preparing historians for careers outside of the class.
